East German KDA Field Cap

Coming straight from the DDR this is the East German KDA field cap. The KDA (Kampfgruppe Der Arbeiterklasse) were the combat groups of the working class which served as a paramilitary force alongside the National Volks Armee of east germany. initially serving as protection forces on industrial and party sites the quickly became a peace keeping force often used to quell unrest. known for the trademark red necktie and field cap they were ever  present throughout the cold war. the field cap itself is made of a hard wearing cotton with high peak and fold down ear flaps, perfect for hiking, reenacting, airsoft and collecting
