British Army Vintage Wool KF Shirt
A classic British Army combat shirt from the Cold War era, commonly nicknamed the “Hairy Mary” due to its soft, slightly fuzzy wool-flannel texture. This Shirt, Man’s Combat (KF – Khaki Flannel) was issued through the late 1960s into the 1970s and beyond, typically in khaki/brown transitioning to olive-green from around 1972 onwards. Made from durable wool, it was valued for ruggedness and warmth as one of the last woollen combat shirts before lightweight polycotton uniforms replaced it in the mid-1980s. It features a traditional military cut with a button front and classic issue styling, reflecting practical British field clothing of the era.
- 2 breast pockets with buttons
- Button placket at the front
- Cuff with buttons
- Epaulettes x2
Sizing: Like many dress shirts these are measured from the collar, though as this is a nato sizing it is measured in centimeters. so for an accurate fit, measure your neck in CM and select your best fit
Grading: while these are all grade 1 some of these have faded over time which make them a lighter green, adding a really nice vintage vibe to them
