
British Army George Boots
Dating back the the late 19th century the George boot has become one of the most iconic military boots styles in the British army. Commonly worn by officers and in mess dress the George boot is a Tall, whole cut dress boot which laces high on the ankle and keeps a classic formal cut. This particular batch of George boots i believe was present with men of The Rifles during public duties at Buckingham palace as they have been modified for gravel. this has been done with the addition of a logger boot sole which ads height and resilience to the boot though heel irons and segs have been added to retain the distinctive click of the boots on the parade square.
